Baahubali Monday (4 Days) Box Office Collection: Fastest Rs 200 Crores

SS Rajmouli’s long lived dream is slowly taking shape. After his magnum opus hit screens last Friday, all prying eyes were on the occupancy reports and the first day collections. Turns out that Baahubali has shattered all previous box office records to create a milestone of its own in the history of Indian cinema.

Coming to the grand reception that the film has received, Baahubali has raked in huge moolah from all its versions worldwide. After earning around Rs 165 crore in the first three days, Baahubali continued its winning streak and has already zoomed into the Rs 200 crore club with much ease and comfort. As per early trade analysis, the film didn’t dip too much on Monday and collected in the range of Rs 40 crore which means it has broken through the Rs 200 crore bracket already.

The costliest film ever made in Indian cinema, Baahubali has taken over 500 days of shooting already and will be presented in two parts. While Baahubali-The Beginning released last week, Baahubali- The Conclusion will release only next year. While the first part in itself is on its way to recover the investment (Rs 250 crore), we believe the film will become a giant success once the second part also hits screens. As of now, all eyes are on how much the film scores throughout its lifetime.

Baahubali has set the Indian Box Office registers ringing non-stop, never has a movie received such craze all over the country, with shows booked and sold out both during the weekend and the weekdays.
Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia, the film directed by SS Rajamouli has mostly received positive reviews from both critics and the viewers.
People have been comparing the movie to Hollywood standards and are extremely proud of such a Indian movie hitting the screens in so many languages. The movie is doing good business in all the languages, both in India and overseas.
On Friday, the makers recorded the highest collection with Baahubali grossing over Rs 50 crores, out of which Rs 5.15 crores were obtained from the Hindi dubbed version.
On Saturday business improved over 40%, garnering Rs 7.09 crores and with a solid Sunday, Baahubali grossed Rs 10.11 crores on the third day bringing the total first weekend collection to Rs 22.35.
The film had already recorded a collection of Rs 160 crores in three days, Taran Adarsh tweeted the Monday collections, "#Baahubali [dubbed Hindi version] is SUPER-STRONG on Mon. Fri 5.15 cr, Sat 7.09 cr, Sun 10.11 cr, Mon 6.10 cr. Total: 28.45 cr. SUPERB!"
